 | The Waverly Palace Theatre is the first movie theater in the world to make use of the Dolby Surround Sound EX system with JBL screen array. The new speaker system design was released in late 1999 by JBL. The Waverly Palace will also be using the new Dolby Surround EX system. This format first appeared with the release of “Star Wars— The Phantom Menace.”
